Our beautiful new mama has been named Penelope. She came with three boys and four girls.
Just a baby herself, the deep scars on her body tell a story of a hard life protecting herself when no one was there to care for her. She was undoubtedly loyal up until the day the only person she ever knew dumped her to fend for her newborns alone.
April 2020, Penelope had her puppies under a church in Canton, TX. It took two days to get her and all seven of her puppies out and to safety.
Penelope was infested with parasites, including heart-worms. Her babies also infested with hook, whip, round worms and battled a bacterial infection in their skin.
Once they were weaned and healthy it was time to find their fur-ever homes!
All seven puppies and Penelope found wonderful families to spend the rest of their lives with.
They enjoy watching Paw Patrol, hiking, car rides, play and of course, napping.
