Fighting off big dogs from attacking her sick mom. Riley was rescued from the streets of Cleveland, TX in January of 2020.Survived Parvo but two weeks later, lost the only thing she had left in life, her mom. Adopted in August 2020 by a loving family in Grand Prairie, TX with two little girls of her very own to play with.

Tater, rescued July 2019 from a high kill shelter in Lubbock, TX with her mom. All of her siblings were gone and soon she would be too, and her mom would be left behind. Tater was adopted May 2020 and has become a companion that everybody needs. We think about you daily. Happy Tails Tater Tot!
Roy was rescued from the streets of Missouri City, TX in January of 2020. Roy found his fur-ever home in February 2021, He is living his dream life in Anna, TX with his new mom, dad & fur-sister Lilly. Happy Tails LeRoy!
Hartley was saved a kill shelter in Arlington, TX late January 2020. Her new mom spotted her all the way from Richmond, TX and had to have her. After two short weeks with one of our many loving fosters, Hartley made her way down south. She was greeted with so much love. Hartley hit the jackpot with her new family. Sadie was found as stray in Arlington, TX on Christmas Eve 2019. A good Samaritan picked her up reached out for help. She was in a worm cozy foster home in time for Christmas. Her foster dad could not let her go so he officially adopted Sadie September 2020. She is spoiled rotten with her bestie, Lil Bit the cat. We love you more Sadie Boo. Happy Tails!
Caleb is another found trying to survive the streets of Cleveland, TX. Rescued January 2020. Living life with his foster as a regular at the local Starbucks. It was March 2020 that this handsome boy found his fur-ever family in Nacogdoches, TX. Caleb is king of the house and their hearts! We are so happy for Caleb and the new life he lives. Happy Tails!

You take a wrong turn in Fort Worth, TX and this is what you find. One of our own was out sightseeing with family and found a momma lying next to tote full of puppies. Ten puppies to be exact. No plan at all but she knew she had to save them. CLICK to see her beautiful transformation
Puppies for sale in Ennis, TX. A wonderful lady responded to the ad and offered $100 for all 22 puppies. SOLD! We were able to split the two possibly three litters with another rescue. April 2020 these babies were saved from the hands of Evil. CLICK for their transformation and Happy Tails.
Facing death row in the Arlington Shelter, Bruno believed to be deaf and possibly blind. February 2020 his new adventures began. A few months in boarding with training then moved into a loving foster home. It was determined, Bruno was not deaf nor blind. We think he ignored shelter staff because he just did not like them. Vet confirmed eyes and ears were great. Bruno was adopted July 2020. He is living his best life in Dallas, TX and loves running in the arena with the horses. You make our hearts happy big guy! Here we are in Cleveland, TX again.... Coco looking like the streets were going to claim her life was rescued March 2020. Pregnant and heartworm positive. Ultrasounds confirmed that the unborn puppies were not alive. Coco stole the heart of her foster mom who nursed Coco's broken heart & soul back to health. Her foster mom officially adopted Coco August 2020. Coco is running the show in Spring, TX and has become a therapy dog for one of her new moms other recues. The world is yours Coco. Keep owning it! Chance was found with his brother Doc on the street in Canton, TX protecting his friend Penelope and her babies that were born under a church. His foster loved and cared for him all the way through his heart worm treatment. The hardest part of fostering is letting them go. Officially adopted June 2020 by his foster mom. Doc was found with his brother Chance on the street in Canton, TX protecting his friend Penelope and her babies that were born under a church. His foster loved and cared for him through his separation anxiety and heart worm treatment. A loving family in McKinney, TX fell in love with Doc and adopted him in July 2020.Doc is spoiled rotten living life as an only child. You are a true hero Doc. Happy Tails bud!
Bear was one of ten dogs in Alvarado, TX that the owner had his on his property. No food, no water, no cares if the dogs lived or died.
That all changed in in May of 2020. Bear stole the hearts of many, but abuse had left him fearful of some men. December 2020, Bear got the best Christmas present ever! Adopted and living large in Fort Worth, TX. You are a true heartbreaker Bear. Happy Tails to you!

After a good Samaritan had picked up an injured stray cat she realized the cats injuries were severe and she needed medical attention right away. A lover of all animals saw the request for help and jumped into action. Honey was picked up from New Caney, TX and rushed to an ER in Houston, TX. That is when we learned that Honey's injuries we from somebody trying to set her on fire AND she was pregnant. CLICK to read Honey's story of survival.
Rural areas of Texas are a dog’s death sentence. These cuties deserved better. The owner of an un-spayed female that lives its entire life outdoors was convinced to surrender the puppies so we could get the immediate medical attention they needed. This Hound Dog Elvis and his sister were rescued in June 2020 from the streets of Canton, TX. Them being in better health than what is usually found on the streets we can only assume they had recently been dumped. This stud had folks all shook up and did not take long to find his fur-ever family. August 2020 Elvis was adopted into a loving home in Fort Worth, TX. Who can't help falling in love with Presley? This adorable Hound Dog and her brother Elvis were rescued June 2020 from the streets of Canton, TX. She was adopted in August 2020 to a great family in Arlington, TX. No more crying in the rain for this girl. She loves her new family and fur-brother. Even though she turned out to be the "largest" Hound breed there is, her family loves her to the moon and back. You are one lucky gal Presley. Happy Tails!
Ducky was at the shelter in Arlington, TX in need of immediate medical care. More than the shelter is equipped to provide. We rescued Ducky and her sister who were nothing but skin and blood. After months of medicated baths Ducky was ready for her new life. Snatched up quick by her new dad, Ducky is spoiled rotten and living the life in Fort Worth, TX that all dogs dream about. Nueces County Shelter is no place for an animal. September 2020, Owner surrendered to the pound and 5 days later Brownie is headed down the hallway of death. Then a village pulls together and saves his life. Brownie is our first out of state transfer. He was transferred to PJ's Rescue in Duluth, MN. Such a lover boy that he never made it past his new foster in Minnesota. Brownie was officially adopted by his PJ's Rescue foster in October 2020. We did what we had to save your life Brownie Boy. We are so happy for you and all the snow you get to play in. Happy Tails to you!
Petrie was at the shelter in Arlington, TX in need of immediate medical care. More than the shelter is equipped to provide. We rescued Petrie and her sister in June of 2020. They were nothing but skin and blood. After months of medicated baths Petrie was truly blessed with a mom, dad and fur-sister who could not imagine life without her. Petrie is ruling her world now Lavon, TX. Petrie is beautiful inside and out. Happy Tails little hippo!
In March 2020 Little Girl Genie was surrendered to us at the local feed store in Mansfield, TX. Her broken-hearted owner being a victim of domestic violence knew it was best to get her Little Girl out of harm’s way. Even with her "bull in a china shop" characteristics Little Girl Genie's foster mom fell head over heels for her.
Genie is running the whole house in Garland, TX with her fur-ever mom. We prayed for you Genie. Happy Tails!
August 2020 this guy found himself at the pound in Cleveland, TX. Missing half his hair and scheduled to be euthanized in two hours. It took no time at all for this bar crowd loving boy to find the home of his dreams. Apollo D was adopted in October of 2020 where he joined to other rescues adopted from Gracie Lou Rescue & Rehab. We all love this family just as much as the love their new family member. Congratulations and Happy Tails Pauly D!
Shelly was surrendered to the shelter in Nueces, TX by her owners in August 2020. This momma dog was taken away from her puppies and nobody even noticed. Five days later Shelly was reunited with her two, surviving 10-day old puppies that her owners found under their house. Early December Shelly found the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. She found a wonderful family and is living her happy ever-after in Arlington, TX. You are one luck girl Shelly Belly. Happy Tails!
It's not every day that somebody reaches out to us and tells us they saw a dog they want to rescue and adopt. Well Bosco was a first. August 2020 his new mom saw him on the Nueces, TX animal shelter's euthanasia list all the way from Olympia, WA. with a lot of networking, Bosco made it to his new mom. Bosco is now living his new life and enjoys hiking in the forest full of Evergreens. Enjoy life to its fullest Bosco. You deserve it. Happy Tails!
This dog named Arial found herself in the Arlington, TX shelter. She was "rescue only" due to needing more medical treatment than the shelter can provide. We rescued her in October 2020, almost bald and covered in sores from mange. Arial, now named Keida made a full recovery. February 2021, Keida found herself in a new home with lots of kids to play with.

The Paris, TX hoarding situation that Chaos was living in all ended for him in October 2020.
Chaos was adopted by a young lady who just needed a friend who let her down and she could share unconditional love with. Chaos was a perfect match and in December 2020 his new life began. No looking back Chaos. The horrible life you survived is in the past. You have such a bright future now. Happy Tails!
In October 2020 Lennie was just a puppy when rescued from a hoarding situation and horrific living conditions in Paris, TX. December 2020 Lennie landed in a wonderful home in Dallas, TX with a fur-ever family that cherishes her. From living in filth to living the dream. You are the cutest Lennie. Happy Tails!
January 2021 Cookie's owners surrendered her to the shelter in Arlington, TX. She was a "rescue only" because her happy demeanor made her not suitable for adoptions in the eyes of the shelter staff. Nobody ever took the time to train her and teach her manners. Well this sweetheart took no time at all finding a family that would give her the what she needs. February 2021 Cookie was adopted and loves the attention she is getting from her new family. We know you will be a perfect lady in time. Happy tails Cookie!
October 2020 a local police office in Crockett, TX found and picked up three puppies from the side of the road. Dumped at just 6 weeks old. These three mix breed puppies were in need of medical attention. After many rounds of deworming they were finally ready to find their fur-ever homes through our "foster to adopt" program. All three of them are living their best lives and adoptions were finalized in March of 2021. Click below to see their transformations.
January 2021 found Pesto on death-row at the horrid little pound in Nueces, TX. Thanks to many amazing volunteers and networking we were able to save Pesto with three hours to spare. This cute little guy was snatched up fast by his new mom. Pesto found himself a home all by himself and is spoiled rotten. You deserve every minute of it little dude. Happy Tails to you!
In September 2020 a dog named Hurricane was picked up by the local shelter. Unable to use his hind legs and one of them just dangling we knew we had to rescue him. Hurricane, now named Harley is the definition of the cliché" "who rescued who?" Harley apparently lived his life breeding and living in crate. No leg muscles, bad hips, and so many calluses he needed a special foster. His foster mom walked him every day for months to build up both his & hers muscle to support their hips. Harley did so well that he was able to avoid hip surgery. February 2021 the foster family decided to make it final. They could not let him go and finalized his adoption. Harley is a big'ol goof living out his life in Cleburne, TX with 3 fur-siblings. So proud of you Harley D! Happy Tails!
Juno was code red at the Arlington, TX shelter for being afraid. Lucky for Juno our fosters aren't afraid and jumped right into action to safe her precious life. Juno is now living her best life as Luna. Happy Tails Luna! you scored an amazing family.
